Summer may still be in full swing, but the first day of school will be here before we know it. Help your family get ready with a day of fun, free school supplies, and community resources at the 16th Annual Back-to-School Carnival hosted by St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children.

Free Carnival and Backpack Giveaway

Families are invited to enjoy a free carnival and backpack giveaway!

When: Friday, August 7, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The event includes:

  • Free backpacks filled with school supplies (children must be present)
  • Food, games, music, and entertainment
  • Family-friendly activities, including educational health and wellness workshops
  • Community resources and health information for families across Philadelphia

Since it began, the carnival has welcomed nearly 15,000 children and families, helping local students start the school year prepared and excited to learn!
